So I found out that Fallout New Vegas hit on October 19 its 10th birthday.
Might be a bit late for it, but I still wanted to do something so here’s an model of ED-E for the occasion.
So here are the unedited version of the fallout 3 and New vegas wallpapers I did a while ago.
And so here is the final version (
or at least the one I will settle with ) of one of the classical wallpaper of Fallout New Vegas.
Because after two days of searching, I wasn’t able to find the right filter, and to recreate the same light on him. I feel it will take many tries before I can post-process an image the way I wish.
Another thing is that I used this image to try out the tool for fabric for the flag and the lower part of the trench coat. Learned how to use it, but not enough to simulate winds that could produce a replica of the original scene, and I think it wouldn’t be possible because in the end, it’s a drawing, whereas this one is a modelization, trying to emulate the former in the latter is more about chance I think (or a lot of retry). Pulling the fabric by the points/edges/surfaces the way I want it to be is at the moment way quicker and less unpredictable.
To say, I think I will do the cover of the other fallout in the near futur.

Instead of having a simple image of the next minecraft style project, here is a short gif of the flag in the wind.
I dit the pixel art of the NCR’s flag. The ripped background still need a lot of work where the original ranger and flag were, and I still need to find the correct filter for the scene to be an (near) exact replica.
